...here we go again

the DownstAirs miXup resumes today, on WMUC2 so be sure to check us out from 10-12pm est!!

its going to be a pretty great show today, being that i'm especially psyched.... ( i had a nice nap this afternoon)

not only that, but i believe that Sasha and I have put together a particularly amazing playlist for tonight! and its going to be our first show of the semester... and our good friend Rebecca is going to be joining us, all in all... excellence!

Songs I'm most excited about tonight:
-White lies Kayne Cover... they are British, the singer has a deep voice... <3!

-Passion Pit remix of Ra Ra Riot... amazing! I love ra ra riot, because i find their music to be uplifting, and just so beautiful. And passion pit has done a wonderful job in capturing those essential elements and adding a really dancy beat.. sooo good.

-Amazing Sounds of Orgy - Radiohead... i can't get enough of them, seriously. Just recently, i got their b-side tracks and this was one of them. it was love at first listen, this is one of their more sensual tracks and i find it to be very appropriately named.

Here's the playlist for tonight's show:
White Lies - Love Lockdown (Kayne West Cover)
Grizzly Bear - Knife
Kings of Leon - Trani
Animal Collective - Lion In A Coma
Dirty Projectors + David Byrne - Knotty Pine
Hot Chop & Peter Gabriel - Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa (Vamp. Weekend cover)
Free Blood - Quick and Painful
Animal Collective - My Girls (Dave Wrangler rmx)
Peter Bjorn and John - Nothing To Worry About
Friendly Fires - In the Hospital
Ra Ra Riot - Ghost Under Rocks (Passion Pit rmx)
Radiohead - The Amazing Sounds of Orgy
Crystal Stilts - Crystal Stilts
Interpol - Specialist
Blonde Redhead - Falling Man, Live at the 9:30
The Acorn - Crooked Legs
Bon Iver - Blood Bank

Interesting things:

Ever wondered what Morrissey looked like named? Yeah, me neither.. but he's pretty fit!

A photo of him and his band mates is apparently going to be on the inside sleeve of his new single, "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris" (youtube)
I heard it today, and I have listened to it enough to have an opinion, but suffice to say, that I like it.

well, thanks for reading, this is all for now.
